Has anyone shot the Speer 39 TNT HP--(item # 1015)? How did they shoot and what is our opinion on this bullet?

I bought a box back about 3 years ago. They shot pretty good, but not as good as the ever-reliable SBKs. On average, they shot about .75 groups out of my Cooper 204, while the SBKs were comfortably under 0.5. However, I did not monkey with them too much so you might get a bit better than that.

On the downside, I have not seen them available for about 2 or 3 years now. Did you find a seller than actually had them in stock? They did have a pretty attractive price back then.

I bought and reloaded some as well. For me, they shot about 1" groups which wasn't nearly as good my bergers and ballistic tips. I probably reloaded and tested about 50 rounds before I gave up. After all that, I tried the 39 sbks which are better than anything I've tried.

Just got speer 39 gr tnt hp 500 from midway my 204 savage shark loves them put them behind 26.5 of varget and I can cover a dime at 100 yards ,and the price was 16.99 a box of 100 ask them to send you E-mail when they come in and they go fast just like the 39 blitking but at $25.49 a box

Graf's have these in stock at $15.89 per 100...... Just ordered a few to see how they act in my rifle..
