James Calhoun bullets?

Post by Lope »

New guy here!!
Has anyone used 33 double hp James Calhoun bullets for the 204?
I have used them in my 22-250 with great results I fur hunt coyotes here in eastern Oregon and used up all my 30 grain Bergers that are no longer made they were the best out of my gun with no fur damage.
I have used 35 Bergers but have blown a few holes
Thanks

Can't help with the 33 gr bullets, Lope, but I've got some 35gr Bergers stashed if you might need some in .20 cal.
Welcome to the forum, where in eastern OR are you located?

You're welcome.

I used to hunt JV with my dad back in the early 70's on the Skinner ranch just west of town. By the looks of your coyote harvest, things have not changed too much there. Nice.

I do miss those days the deer were big and more of them
My coyote numbers have dropped the last few years they gun them pretty hard out of the helicopters now every year
I sure am liking the 33s great group's

Lope, you may be able to find some of those 33 grainers over on the Saubier small caliber forum. Lots of small caliber guys there, lots more traffic than we get here. Post a WTB there and see what happens. Can't hurt, right?

Also over on Accurate Shooter, even more traffic for stuff like this. LOTS of varmint guys there too. Good luck.
