32gr Vmax
26.0 grains H322
CCI primers
No crimp

I don't have a crimp die but I may get a better competition die set that has one.

Thanks gentlemen for putting in your votes. I'll go ahead and remove the load from the spread sheet. FinMan's post still stands on page six, but I don't think there is anything we can do about that without a mod's assistance.

trent i know you only doing it to help us reloaders, if i get chance i will run it through a chrono, the only thing being, my barrel is only 18", although that might be interesting some to see how much fps i have losted..
i have now also brought re-10x so will be looking to work some loads up in this powder.
I ALSO VOTE FOR THAT LOAD TO BE REMOVED.
i think where possible, if the powder makers have put a max load, then just to use this as then, you are also covered.

I have 3 diferent rifles/actions in 204r.Most development was with a Savage LRPV,with a 6.5-20x44 Vortex scope.Rem brass and Rem 71/2 primers.IMR 8208 XBR 27.3 gr,Sierra 39gr BK,seated with .002 neck tension,at 2.350 COAL.MV 3850 group sub .002.Have had good results with Varget and BL (C) 2,but settled on 8208 for all around loading in the 204.For 32gr SBKs I load 28gr for a MV of 4010fps.Only diference for my Ruger #1 SS varmit is winchester brass, and hornady brass for my G2 Contender (only 32gr SMKs).I would use WW brass for all loading, however it's easier to seperate which gun, by having a different head stamp.Still working on the #1,and swapped the G2 barrel for a 20 Ackley Bee.

24" DPMS Upper 32 gr SBK 27.8 gr H4895 Loaded to mag length and wincherster small rifle primers very accurate load and for the 35 gr Bergers I use 24.5 gr. of H322 loaded to mag length and winchester small rifle primers also an exceptionally accurate round. Not the highest velocities, but very accurate. As always, these are safe in my rifle, but may not be in yours. Work up from starting loads carefully.

I am new to the site and just reloaded 50 204 rounds. I am using Win brass, Win primers, 34gr HP dogtwon rounds with 24grs of IMR 4064. I hope to try them out this weekend. I hope this to be a good load. Has anyone used this combo before? If so how did it work out for you.

Welcome to the forum Darius.

Your load sounds a little weak. Sierra lists 25.1gns as a starting charge for 4064 and the 39gn Sierra.
With a bulky powder like 4064 it should'nt be dangerous. Just low. Good Luck.
