Great Start - Ghog season

Post by cementbaloo »

Shooters,
Man was I having a good season on the ghogs.
Armed with my RugerM77 MKII 204, Mini14 Target 223, and Ruger MKIII Target 22 pistol.
104 to the great bean fields in the sky. as of July 20th.
Herniated disc put season to and end. Have finally gotten to the point that I can sit long enough to drive to the job myself. Instead of showing up laying down in the back of a truck. My guys got a lot of "Driving Miss Daisy" comments.
Crow season has just come in, so hopefully I will be able to participate.

Glen,
Always good to see your words. Its good to be able to sit long enough to check out the forum again.

OUCH!! I feel your back pain CB!! I visit the Bone Doc once a month & sometimes more frequently than that. And this 204 Ruger fad  I'm going thru right now is a real blessing on groundhogs. I can't shoot very much heavy recoil anymore. It tends to reposition my neck vertebrae!! My muzzleloader whips my butt after only 5rds anymore so I just shoot 3 every fall & check zero then take it out for deer. I'm glad you are feeling better tho. And I'm sure I woulda razzed you some myself!!  Get Better!!
