A few from this weekend!

Post by foxwhistler »

Had a call from a farmer losing chickens earlier this week, so managed to get over Friday night! Managed two dogs and a vixen from 90 to 200yds! All shot in the same field! Did see one more but was skylined, so couldn't take the shot!
Then last night went out to a big valley near me! Didn't see anything until right at the end of the night when I spotted a couple of big cubs playing above ground about 380yds away! I decided to wait to see if the parents made an appearance! Eventually saw this big old boy heading towards the cubs and managed to shoot him at 200yds! Had to wait till this morning to pick him up as it was across the valley and would have been a huge trek in the night! That's number 31 this year!

I only have to be lucky once,
the fox has to be lucky every time!
