Kim204: Glad to hear the M1 custom dial worked for you. I use mine in MOA with charts, works well, but nothing like having the custom elevation dial tailored to your exact load. Right on!

Of course you now realize that you've just erased any "good" excuses for missing your next coyote...... ;)

Rick, Do you know what Hornady headspace gage that will do the 6.5x284 norm. In the new catalog I got from Midway. It doesn't say what one to use? I'm going to get a 6.5x284 HS Precision in the SPR with a 24" barrel and a muzzle brake. My buddy that has the gun shop is giving me a GOOD DEAL on it. Being he's a dealer for them. I have had the fun to shoot alot of them from a 223 to 338 Lapua Mag. They all are out standing Shooter! The 6.5 for around here on deer, elk, bear and long long shooting on coyote! Thanks for the help. Chuck :D

Well i must say. That is one impressive shot. I shot a dog today at 380yrds with a winchester supreme ballistic tip 32grn. It took 2 shot to kill him(first was a 40gr bereger). It took alot to take him down and he wieghted in at 31.2lbs. There was a good size group and the biggest was 50lbs even and the smallest was 30.8lbs. I also shot a 22.6lb jack rabbit. I love this gun but i think i need some better optics. But first thing is im buying some realoading stuff to start into that.

KIM204: I have the set of the Hornady headspace gauges, but not having a 6.5-284 case, I'm unable to say which one will work. If you have the set, dink around with them to see which one fits the case properly.......IF you have the set.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
