Here is a poor photo of the latest coyote to meet the Kimber, a beautiful Wisconsin female.

I can't tell from the picture but is it missing some paws? look like it is still in good shape no rubbing yet even with as little snow as there is??

Not missing any paws, the front ones are stacked. Like I said, not a good picture, it was very sunny and I stood over the coyote and took the picture from a bad angle that makes the legs look short or weird. We actually have about 5" of snow, I took the picture back by my truck where most of it was plowed away.

The scope is a Leupold M8 Tactical Fixed 6x with AO.
I'm a firm believer in fixed power scopes and 6x is my favorite.

Nice going there, Zepher.

For many years, all I hunted with was fixed 6X scopes too, never had any problem whatsoever. My pet Model 70 .270 Win carried a fixed Leu M8 6X for over 27 years before I finally went the 2.5-8X route to get a mil-dot reticle. 99% of the time, it's carried on 4X, and in all the years I've hunted with that scope on the .270 since, I can only think of two times I cranked it up for a shot on mule deer, and both times it was set on...... you guessed it, 6X.

Hummm, is there something to this?
