204Ruger

Any one shooting a T3 lite in a 204. How do you like it?

I bought one last spring on sale at Cabelas - haven't shot it alot but plan to get back into coyote hunting after Christmas. I wound up putting a Sightron II Big Sky 6-24x42mm with AO to shoots chucks in the summer. I've reloaded some 39gr SBK but never got back to the range. I was getting about 3800 fps with the 32gr Hornady V-Max factory loads out of the 22 1/4" barrel.

I didnt get a lot of range time on the Tikka but the little I did was promising. So far I have a good coyote load in the old faithful 35 gr Berger and H4985 with 28 gr.
I got one test batch with a 40 gr Berger and 748 ( 25 gr) that shot really nice. I plan to get back to ladder it later.

So far the 35 Berger have taken a couple of coyotes and a couple foxes.

But the early indications are that it will be a shooter, especially for a carry gun.
