I hit the first badger at 65yds and the big "buck" badger at 184yds. The scrawny coyote went down at 320yds (range finder). The second badger and coyote were head shots. All were hit with the 39sbk and never took another step. Great bullet for accuracy and devastation out of my Savage 12 fcv. We have a bit of woof problem over here in Idaho so I thought I give the sierra's one try on the larger canines. Head shots seem to put most anything down.

Bazz, that fat wombat lives in a burrow? What are they related to, swine, rodent?

Oh wow! So that's a wombat, I didn't realize they were that big. Is there a lot of them there? I'd love to go over there and hunt your varmints.

yep they live in a burrow 12 or more to be precise so they love to dig they are a marsupial and i should explain that they are normally protected and can only be shot with a permit but in this part of the word on privet property you dont need a permit and they are in large numbers any for the comedians out there yes they love to eat roots and leaves cheers bazz

Thanks for the info, Bazz. I would imagine a dozen of those could create quite a mess, in short order! Marsupial? That, I never would have guessed!!!

I knew a girl once who called her boyfriend wombat - "He eats, roots, and leaves".
Strange diet for a young lad. I would've chosen more meat and beer at his age
