Luckily for us it's a combination of both worlds!!

I'll never afford a Cooper so it's nice to see that some folks can & are buying them. Keeps a good company in the black that way.

Well then Valar, did you happen to notice that this post is in "Centerfire Rifles"? This is not a caliber specific arena, so ANY centerfire rifle is welcome here.

Most here know my proclivity towards nice small caliber rifles......pity you don't feel that way, then again, this post had nothing to do with AR's, so perhaps that's why you have an axe to grind. Consider also, you knew this post was about a Cooper rifle, yet you clicked on it anyway........ :chin:

Glen, thanks, but I think you meant to say "in the black". ;)

Yes I did Rick!! Thank You for pointing that out. I changed it.

Have you gotten back out with the 221??

I just started to reload last Winter & have been slowly poking along. I loaded 20rds with 50gr BK's for Diane last night. I just love this little cartridge!!

Why "yes" Glen, I did yesterday.

It's covered in another post here, but here's the final result of the trials:

Looks to be the medicine for Skippy's headache soon to come!

Nice!! It'll be warming up enough to shoot here in about 45 more days I'm guessing!! Hoping Diane's 221 loads shoot as well with me loading them as they did with my Brother loading for her.

Can't wait to get out & see what the ol 222 is gonna do with the 6 test loads I have.

Well Jim, that reply seems to be lost on this individual.

Envy, anger and apparently undereducated seems to be obvious indicators. Grammar and spelling are not high on his list either. I'll share a PM he sent me for all to see what kind of a person "Valar" really is:

Rick, get a grip, I dont patronise this site much any more as its all about a few people who enjoy everyone oohing and ahhhing over there coopers. Well sir if they dont its apparant they are outta line! Stick your coopers up your uptight butt! and the site! Sincerley, Kent Walley

It seems a Cooper is not on his agenda, so poo poo to all that have them and enjoy them. Don't think there will be many here who will miss this guy......IF he actually does leave and doesn't come back. :chin:

I guess so, Rick.

It never seems to amaze me that those who get wrapped around their own dilemmas and post comments like that. Heck, if one doesn't like the thread, permission granted to move on to the next one. I know everyone can't afford a Cooper but I like reading about everyone's new toys whether its a Cooper, Remington, Ruger, CZ, Tikka, Savage and many more I didn't name. It's the participation that counts, IMO.

I guess maybe I should get around to posting some updates myself.

Jim

Right you are there, Jim.....there's one in every crowd.

I, like you, look forward to seeing new toys others have acquired, and brand really doesn't enter into it with me either....a nice rifle is a nice rifle, period. And the camaraderie is one of the prime reasons most of us participate in these discussions concerning one of our passions.....nice accurate rifles.

Speaking of camaraderie, here you are with your 204 having your way with our favorite rodent last spring:

Looking forward to seeing you again in the field soon to have fun with Skippy and his pals! :D
