old style ruger all weather stock

Post by sixshooter »

Does anybody have an old short action all weather stock? The one that says ruger on the back and is sometimes called a canoe paddle. You either love or hate these things but I need one. For a while they were everywhere for cheap but I did not need one then.

Thanks

I guess those old stocks got tossed or people went back to them. Cant find a short action anywhere.

I have a wood stock for the model 77, but it is for a long action. Sorry I can't help you.

I've now looked at about 10,000 listings on a bunch of gun parts sale lists. Looks like I missed the market. Pretty typical of my luck.

Well one finaly showed up on ebay. I gave up at about $150. I guess those that didnt like them got rid of them now those that want them cant get them unless they pay a premium. Story of my life.
