Gary: NICE! Have you made the call to Milt Sparks yet?

Better bring a few hundred rounds of .45 in addition to all your 204's for the trip.....gotta break her in properly on steel!

Image

I need to align my laser on my TLE, so maybe I'll bring two this time....

Image

Remember why we carry 45's......'cause they don't make a 46!

An even bigger worry on the ranch is rattlers! They start moving about this time of year, so when at the ranch, I carry three shot loads over my 185gr Speer Gold Dots for the chance snake encounter.....they work great in all my 1911's, function the action every time.

Image

Apparantly these loads work well in the Capt's new Kobra Carry too. Gotta be prepared!

Well, she's a keeper for sure! :D The rats weren't doing much because of the weather so we spent some time shooting at targets with our .45's. I was able to make hits at 55 yards one handed so my happy buttons were pushed for sure! Gary

Captqc, normally the "old-timer" in me comes out and I don't care for the looks of a .45 "bobtail". But, I have to admit, that is one FINE looking pistol! The grips are really icing on the cake. I hear the Ed Brown guns are top notch. Keep us posted on how she shoots.
