Is there such a thing as a good tactical type rimfire i.e. good copper coated or jacketed bullet, for almost, full proof feeding out of the mag into the chamber ? Bill K :?:

I prefer the bulk Federal ammo. It shoots and feeds clean. Its copper jacketed. I stay away from Remington at all costs! Very messy.

I found some CCI "AR 15 Tactical" ammunition at Cabela's. Copper coated medium velocity. Shot great groups from my 10/22, no feeding problems.

It is the same as one of their lines of ammo but it isn't the Stinger line. I'd have to do a search over on RimfireCentral to find it, but I think I might be their MiniMag. It is supposedly intended to work better in semi-autos, or at least that is how they are swinging the "tactical" description.

It seems most like a mini-mag to me. No hollow point. Copper coated.

Mini-Mags are the most accurate out of my rifle.
