No worries, magnum. I figured it was a 204R since you posted under "204 reloading". Just did not want to mess you up if by chance it was a different cartridge .
Great results for me with Alliant RL10X and Federal 205M primers, WW brass with 39SBK's and 40 Grain v-Max. .2's are the norm. Thats with a 1/11 twist barrel.
magnum--My old Savage 12VLP in .204 Ruger and the 26" factory barrel shoot pretty small groups using 28.0 gr. of H4895, WW brass and Remington 7½ primers.
You don't mention that you tried altering your seating depth. I'd suggest trying a few different seating depths before I abandoned the 39 gr. Sierras. They seem to work great in just about everyone's .204 Rugers.
Reloder 10X, as some mentioned, works pretty good for some folks.
yes everything tight, 1in12, barrel put 10 rounds down it of 32 nosler it was cleaned just before this and shoot allmost hole on hole then went on to 39 bk and all over the place went back to 32 nosler and back to hole on hole ( i just think my gun dosn,t like them ) but the 40 grain vmax shoot very well it just seems to be 39 bk and my gun

Do you have a moderator on your rifle?
Steve.
yes steve got a dm80 on it
Try it with mod off, just shoot for groups. I have seen stranger things happen.
That is a pretty big jump between 27 and 28.2 in a 204. I didn't see where you mentioned what brass you were shooting. Before you give up on the H4895, you might want to try between 27 and 28 going .2g at the time. There is a very good chance you jumped your accuracy node in that range. I'm assuming you were using H4895 with the 32's and 40's which shot lights out, is that correct?
