Santa flew down from the North Pole to El Paso County, Colorado Sheriff's office to get his CC Permit! No word on where he stashed his sleigh and reindeer.
Stugots, not sure if congratulations are in order, or "it's about time!"
Glad you're about to be among the carrying-free. I've been carrying (legally) since 1978 here. And my handgun/1911 collection shows it! This should not be something special, as we all should have the right to carry and defend ourselves under our constitution, but we all know better.
Caveat: Be prepared to add to your handgun collection, as it WILL grow now!

Texas now has a Constitutional Carry law. I'll still keep my License to Carry Permit valid since it gives me reciprocity privileges otherwise not available without it. I travel a lot. Speaking of which, I'm headed to New Orleans in the morning. My son is retiring from the Coast Guard on Friday. Big ceremony.
Kansas is also a constitutaional carry state. I has a certificate to teach CCW here, when the law changed that kind of killed my deal. But I am happy that it worked out that way. Needless to say, I maintain my permit I have had for over 20 years.
