Howdy fellow shooters,
I used to be (For a short while) a member here several years ago and then found it impossible to login in, so I moved over to a small caliber forum.
Back now, trying again with a new handle and email address.
I live in the UK and shoot fox and occasional deer.
Just the wrong side of 81 now and sometimes my health dictates whether I get out hunting or not.
Currently shooting 221, 222 and 223.
Not had a 20 cal for years but now wanting another, just can’t decide which chambering.
Thanks for letting me back in.
That’s me done for now.
Ken.

Re: Tell us about yourself...
Welcome back there, Brogadini!
Many here are also into what's known as "geezerhood", and as such, have hopefully gained some knowledge along the way. You're also not the only member here from the UK, so maybe one of them will pipe up now that you've 'arrived'. And we're all slaves to our health, more so when there's snow on top.
As for a .20 cal for what you do, the 204 would do it all of course, but seeing your other calibers, and assuming you're a handloader, I'd consider the 20VT, 20-222 or the 20 Practical for good brass availability. Food for thought.
Be sure to let us know how it all shakes out.

Ken: Glad you are up and around, been awhile since I sent to or received emails from you also. Hope you are doing well and getting up and around more than last year, for sure. Bill K

Re: Tell us about yourself...
All I can add is; if you like your 221 Fireballs, you'll love a 20VT. I remember Rick promoting this caliber on here close to 20 years ago. I remember saying to myself; how can this be better than a 204 Ruger. We'll, he was right, very similar performance with 1/3 less of a powder charge. I can shoot more rounds, the barrel doesn't heat up and it's easier to clean.
Good luck to ya'!

Is this Ken, formally "Kenbro"?
If so, good to have an old friend back! Why the name change?

Maybe we are Skipper, but we are still kicking and having fun and that is what matters. Age is mostly in the mind, so they say, even if the body gives us a few different thoughts.
