For sale is a CZ USA model 527 American bolt action rifle chambered in 204 Ruger. Features include a wood stock, blued finish, 22 inch barrel, 1 removable magazine, set trigger, and factory 30mm scope rings. The rifle is in excellent condition with only very minor handling marks. I owned this gun for several years, it is a real shooter. The set trigger is a nice thing to have when shooting groups. I always got MOA or better from it. This is a beautiful rifle, the bore is excellent and the bolt (with claw extractor) has minimal wear and the face looks great.


I have 2 other 204 rifles and this beautiful gun has become a safe queen. I think its time for someone else to enjoy it.

Condition is used. Pictures are the very best indicator of condition and I have included pictures, please see them for condition. IMO this gun is at 99% of new, but I am not an expert.

Included in this sale is shipping to your FFL in a hard gun case, 1 over sized bolt handle, a set of Redding neck and body dies, and the original factory rings. $1,400.00

Tom, that's a very nice rifle with accessories at a very fair price considering the CZ527 has been discontinued, much to the chagrin of many.

I tried to send you a PM that would not go, as the 204um server is not maintained properly, and the owner/operator has been MIA for some time, so posting here on the open forum. I've found that some times the server will not even allow looking at the forum, saying 'too many requests'. We know that's bogus.

So in light of all that, seeing as you've got a very nice rifle there that's in demand on a forum with almost no traffic, I'd suggest posting it over on Accurate Shooter which has beaucoup traffic and serious shooters looking at it daily. That CZ will not last long over there, that's for sure, as many are still looking for that action/rifle for shooting or custom builds.

Keep in mind that on that forum you must have a certain amount of posts to establish credibility to eliminate scammers that are quickly sorted out and booted to keep members safe. I have not seen you over there, so assume you are not familiar with it. There is the entire spectrum of shooters there, newbies and experts with decades of experience. It's an excellent place for both entertainment and learning about our passion, and not limited or dedicated to one caliber such as this site. Your rifle will be met with enthusiasm there.

Thank you for that, I will take your advice and go join. It really is a nice gun and I did a lot of research before I priced it. I think its fair for me and the buyer.

Someone who appreciates it should own it. I am going to run my Ruger American's for hunting. I just cant stand the idea of scratching the wood on this gun, and it has become a safe queen in a very full gun safe.

You have a VERY fine-looking rifle there! I've been away from the forum for a while as I was on an extended vacation (ID, WA, OR) and now that I'm back home in MT I was curious...were you successful in posting and selling the CZ? I am also a member of the Accurate Shooter forum and while I could scroll thru the many, many postings, I thought I could save the time and ask you directly. Well...has it sold?

I would also echo Rick's sentiment; there are lots of shooting enthusiasts on the AS site and you should have no problem in finding interest in your rifle.

After searching the AS marketplace site, I did find your posting. It is a very nice-looking rifle, and I see it is still available.

I already have a Cooper, and a Kimber in 204R, but this just might add another option while set up on the prairie dog or gopher town.
